While we were in Rhyl today daughter insisted on going in costacoffee - what a rip off, £3.50 for a hot chocolate. However the wooden stirrers are 5mm wide by 2mm thick and are ideal for putting glue on pen tubes so I walked out with a large handful or should I say the wife stuffed them in her handbag while daughter walked away in disgust. You can take the boy out of yorkshire, you can't take yorkshire out of the boy.

Been using them for years ... McD's, Starbucks, Costa, Caffe Nero - all work well. I use them for mixing and applying epoxy, glue them together to make sanding dowels, etc etc. I figure that since I am addicted to overpriced coffee the least the vendor can do is support my pen turning habit ...

I buy bamboo skewers yours were available but Craft stores sell the various sticks I never squeeze thru the top rather remove the top to use the glue wife demonstrated how over the years in her card making etc.

Thanks for opening up the vista.

Kind regards Peter.
