First bowl

So it's my first bowl, (one lesson months ago) sycamore, no polish yet, just sanding sealer buffed with shavings. No scraper just bowl gouge.

Sorry about the shadow but had to go outside and make the most of that hot yellow thing we occasionally see.

Sanded with paper only so might invest in a proper tool.

Please hit me with as much criticism as you can spare. Thank you.

Thanks guys, that's really motivating to do more.

It's actually small, started out as a 6 by 2. I made the base for the chuck, but the recess was bigger than the chuck.....:goesred:. So parted that off and started again.

Paul your first no doubt of many well made and handy I agree hand sanding is tiring and using natural edge and irregular burl can lead to injury. wives have their ways bless them.

Should be many more where these came from. Thanks for showing.
