Take a guess
Found a very dry piece of branch wood in the wood store on Friday, lots of splits, Y shaped & had been eaten by woodworm.
Rather than throw it away I cut it up, it was incredibly dusty when being cut as it was so dry & what was left of the worm was definitely not active. I tried turning one piece & it was like gun metal so remembering an idea I saw a few years back this is what I came up with.

A lovely pair Doug, I can't get on with Yew, I haven't got the patience for it, It splits a lot which I guess is because I'm taking too much off at a time.

Very nice indeed young Doug, now how about telling us olduns what it was that you remembered a few years ago ... :thinks:
