Called Tiger because of the tiny black stripes all through. Cut it into one inch squared also its getting rare as. Aquired in 2000.

Yep, really nice wood Peter, I have seen in in the flesh many years ago but not seen any in the UK for quite a while now..

I have a bowl I made with it some 10 to 15 years ago and I refuse to sell it love it I got mine from Lincolnshire wood supplies at Spalding last time I visited Robin his prices had gone through the roof he had a lot of Australian woods all dripping wet

I got some Tiger Myrtle a few months ago from TB ..I was a bit disappointed with it as it was so dark when finished and polished. Mind, it did sell very quickly.
