I was in John Boddy's the other week and the wife picked up a piece of American dark Birch and said can you make me something with this wood.
I think the wood looks rather bland and when I was turning it I hadn't a clue what I was making.
Anyway I nade this bowl and then decided to stick a pillar candle in it. Finished in sanding sealer and wax. The boss loves it !!!
