Steve, I thought I would get in before Grump - this side of the pond we refer to the bathroom as 'the loo'. So your 'crazy looing pen' must have some unusual purpose not for public disclosure ...

The word 'loo' derives from the French l'eau (meaning water) and came to be associated with the bathroom because in early Victorian times there was no waterborne sewage so chamber pots were emptied out of the upper floor windows into the street after a warning shout of "Guardez l'eau!" (Look out for the water!). Of course the contents of a chamber pot could include a lot more than water ...

Oh - nice pen, by the way.
