Hi, Munchkins,

Just finished a gold Sedona fountain pen dressed in Timberbits PB067 (Tabasco Crush.) Despite crap piccies the pen really is nice. This acrylic takes a great shine, but brass shows through in places. Because the blank contains similarly-coloured hues it doesn't show as bad as the pic suggests. I feel that if the tubes had been blackened prior to glue-ing then the see-through would be worse. Anyway, wet & dry grits to 1800, and six goes with metal polish, plus dry wipe.

Regards to all,

Bob.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I know what you mean re the blank but if you could hold it you'd probably like it - it's much nicer in real life, LOL!

As Woody said Bob and I'm sure it would be much nicer in the hand.
