wet turned vase

don't know what the wood is, got chopped down next door last year.
wet as a soggy flannel when turning, it was great fun.
Approx 12 to 14 inch high X 7 to 8 at its widest point.
ebonised the inside with car paint from the pound shop.
sanding sealer & wax 22 on the outside.
Think I should have stained it as the wood is rather white.

Looks like sycamore to me Steven but I don't no expert as you well know.
Love it and the hole.

Sycamore bloody well done Steven the form is spot on wet turned you must have had shavings flying of it in streams I know Paula will just love that one and wont want you to sell it

love this wet turning lark Woody, got showered in sap and got to practise with my rolly munroe & your 2 tools I got from you. Don't half make this hollowing lark a lot easier, & best of all, got a few more big logs to practise on.
Yep, Paula has snaffled it & put it in the window.

Looks like I have to have a go at turning bowls /vases /plates.. Getting left behind......
