I got fed up with bits of the plastic from the table insert keep breaking of why they insist on making them from plastic I will never know so I made my own from some 5mm ally cut it on the band saw then cleaned it up on the disk sander end of problem I have just got to drill some dust holes in it I done this on my last band saw and it lasted me about 6 years and it was still OK when I sold the bandsaw

I have done same with my bandsaw and jigsaw dad, within a couple of seconds of switching on my bandsaw there was plastic flying everywhere and not much left of the insert, and the jigsaw was such a bad fit I changed that rather than catch and jump the wood init?

An excellent idea Woody, I can see your copyright being infringed in the west country. :funny:

Substantial change Woody all for the good, two minds about the width I lose those thin cuts in this size I still believe the makers of Band Saws have a long way to go also.
