Well I took everyone's advice and turned the broken bits of the blank off. After going through my bits of wood I found an off cut of walnut, cut it down glued it on the tube and hey presto :banana:

Its always feels good to save a pen Chas and you've done that very well, the join is perfect. Roll on no4 eh?

Good save Chas i put mine under clip, think it blends in better
and not as noticeable.

A good rescue Chas, I do same as smoky I just think it looks better on the top but hey it's your pen you do what you want with init?
