Many moons ago, I was a truck mechanic and have kept my hand in ever since. I look after all of the family's cars and also some of my friends mota's. I was doing a service on my mates car a couple of weeks ago, plugs, filters etc. Then the idea came to me as I was standing there with the last spark plug in my hand. Chucked a block of spalted beech on the lathe, partly because I didn't want the outside to look too crisp, as the plug was battered, and partly so the inside was a bit nicer to look at.
Turned the box to resemble a piston and threaded the plug into the lid as the finial. Had a lot of fun doing this one.

One of the best finials that i have seen Brody, looks so real .. :thumbs:

I would love to have so much imagination myself, though I believe it would make me too tired lol .. :whistling:

First blush and with my weird sense of humour not to be passed on mate the piston and spark plug very apt send me your email addy I have a few more along this theme mate you will love its one of my hobby horses as well. Brody refreshing themes mate.
