An illuminating drill mod

Another simple mod thats cheap and someone might find useful.

A cheap GU10 light fitting, around £2, an LED GU10 bulb, pretty cheap now at around £5 from Asda and virtually no heat given off, a small bowl come lamp holder and a lid drilled with a forstner bit to accept the fitting. A bit of hot glue and a cheap spring clamp, a pack of 5 for £2.

This is then wired in to the on off switch and clamped to a handy position on the drill.

Makes finding that centre mark a little easier and no poise lamp arm getting in the way.:wink:

Nice one mate. Brighter, cheaper, not as hot, AND you can put it where you like. That's a winner in my book!!:thumbs::thumbs:
