Well, got it finished.
Few firsts here, first properly wet wood, first time using Woodys paper towel chuck to remove the spigot on the bottom (bit twitchy but works a treat). Used the Simon Hope hollowing tool I bought last weekend at the show, cracking tool !
2 coats of Tung Oil, it will get more tomorrow.
6 inch dia, 4 1/2 inch high, 1/8th thick all over the base included. Will be interesting to see if survives the night
Are the greeny / black flecks in the wood normal for sycamore ? Was expecting a creamy white all through, but they appeared as I got into it.
