Well, this was a joy to do, the garage smells gorgeous :funny:

2 people to thank for this, Neil for the wood of course, you are a true gent Sir! Woody for giving me the confidence to think that I could actually do something like this.

I know where the other trees are for more of this, so Neil, give me a couple of weeks to eBay a kidney and I'll have some more ! LOTS LOTS more. I even managed to get some left over for Sierras from the corners I trimmed off.

First one is au naturel at the start. I have a few of it in progress if anyone would like to see them just yell.

This is without a doubt the most stunning piece of wood I've had the pleasure of massacring.

Teak Oil finish, 2 coats at time of pictures, it's had 4 now and it's getting better with each one. This one ain't going anywhere.

Bark inclusion, just about hanging in there.

Far too kind Woody, long way to go yet to get even close to you.

I'll bring this over when I come so you can critique it properly for me.

That is a gorgeous bowl Phil, you've done the wood proud and shown it off to very good effect.
