Hi all. Im new to the forums but I was recommended to join and see whats happening. Im thinking about trying to make some wooden rings, the type where a wooden ring is held between two meta sections that screw together but i have no idea where to find the meta fixings. do any of you have any ideas?
thanks Dave

Are you looking for keyring kits or is this something else?

No this is rings, finger rings. Have seen some made that were a ring of wood captured between two halves of metal which screw together to hold the wood in place. Love the idea of it but cant find where one would get the metal sections

It sounds cumbersome, I would love to see a link to see what you are talking about. Welcome to the forum.

Is this the kind of thing you are looking for? Not sure if you can get it locally, but you could get some shipped over.

The Bangle Guy - Ring Supplies

You could try making 'bentwood' rings - they don't need a metal core. You can google 'how to make a bentwood ring' for any number of videos and tutorials. It's on my bucket list ...

That has to be what was being asked for.
