Here are a couple of slimline pens i made on the cuff, the 1st one is a pen made from three different pieces of Corian, whilst the 2nd one is made from Cocobolo with imatation Ivory as the center band ... :thumbs:

Thanks Tony, i actually like working with Corian, with the right colours they can look very nice. :thumbs:

Does the Corian beat up your tools or do you use Carbide tips?

They don't actually TWB, but it is an advantage to sharpen them at regular intervals. Some very nice pens can be made from this material. Thou some of my biggest loses working with this material is blow-outs. I do my drilling on the lathe and i have learned to run the speed no faster than 500 rpm, and never let the drill get over heated. :thumbs:
