Well my Christmas came early

first my set of transfer punches turned

then my new 22" Robert Sorby Sovereign Ultima Hollowing Tool (just need to work out how to use it)

then this lot turned up

and in it was this block of Indian teak with provenance

it came from HMS Trincomalee - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

got all the wood for £20 and 2 pens

well it fells like Christmas just need to work out were to put it all

well the only thing i got for £20 was the timber but some one contacted me though my face book page to say that he had some bit he wanted to get rid of as he had given up turning and they were getting in the way so he sent some picture and said he only want the postage and two pens i thought get in there

I know someone who does a lot of turning for that ship and uses the planking from it. Looks like you got a great haul
