The Bark looks like Holly and the leaves look like a less prickly Holly.

I agree but it's def not the normal Holly, It looks as if it will be quite white tho, i will have to cut a bit up to show it!

Holly is the most beautiful white when it's a good un and rock solid hard wood, I love it to turn.
I don't know how many flavours there are in it but the Vanilla is normally prickly unless it has a summer and winter coat.
Someone will come along for sure and tell us we are both wrong I don't doubt.

Never seen a Berry at all on it, wish i could find a pic of it before the gales knackered it, it was like a massive Shrub rather than a Tree!

Holly goes a browny grey if dried to quickly, I have made that mistake myself so don't nuke it all in one go init?

Peter what a great link, very interesting and goes some way to substantiate my theory init?
