This is crosscut Mexican Cocobolo.

I turned it to capture where the layers meet and separate and you can see all the layers of color through this great piece of Cocobolo. I'm proud of this one! Might keep it for a while before I sell it.

I really struggle with the photography, especially because of the shine. I use a Canon EOS rebel DSLR with a 100mm macro lens for the close ups.
