Ughh That Blank Looks Awful

The best tip i can give is never worry what the blank looks like when trying to create something different. It is the final result that counts. When you do a glue up and the blank is all shapes then use a bandsaw or sander to get in back where you are able to drill the tube hole central .. Always work for the final finish ... I have had blanks looking like banana's (baby ones of course) but still produced a good looking pen. If you are not happy with the finished item then a friend certainly will. They don't see what we see, if you unerstsnd where i am coming from ... :bwink:
