Guys I am tearing my hair out, for some reason my laptop has suddenly decided I don't need sound, it really has vanished completely!:rolling:

I have checked everything I can think of, and yes the volume control is on full and mute is off.:whistling:

Drivers are all up to date, so don't really know where to go next!:sob:

Failing that try help on the Packard Bell site! Or Install Linux!I use Linux on one lap and win7 on another as windows is so crappy for most things!:down:

Fixed hoo blooming ray, I ended up running sfc/scannow from the command prompt and it repaired some corrupted files, all happy now in the Goulsbra household.

But seriously guys thank you all for the help and advice:thumbs:
