Just had a look on Tapatalk site and you have to type in the code to use the smilies .. So to use this smilie :rant: you need to type in : then rant then : .. Sorry i can't help other than this Ray .. :down:

It's tapatalk app that doesn't display the smilies you use on the website. It has its own selection which I don't think are as good

Tapatalk is a plain text editor and does not support many things.
However the developers are working on smiley apps and phpbb has released one I dunno where as I don't use it.
It was developed for a forum viewer on tablets and not foreseen to take off as it has.
Be patient they will go in leaps and bounds now they know it is viable.
