A colleague at work approached me a few weeks ago explaining that his dad had died last year and was clearing out his workshop and was I interested in buying the lot. He told me what he had (no lathe) but unfortunately there was nothing really that I didn't have and had to refuse. A couple of days later he offered to give me everything just to get rid. He's started bringing things to me weekly now. Theres a black and decker bandsaw, scroll saw, bench drill, 3 routers, 5 planes, carving chisels, normal chisels, block planes, saws, the list goes on and on. I've started making pens and bowls as a thank you for his mother. I'll take some stuff myself but the rest I'm giving away to a few friends locally who are just setting up in the woodwork hobby.
