Some of Bob's Mistrel I was going to use Chrome kits but one blank has a brass colour in it another bits of light brown so I used gold kits it is nice stuff to turn and there's no fear of a joint opening up Oh dear I have just noticed one part on each pen needs to be pushed in just a bit more still that wont take long to fix

Three more super looking pens, the mistral blanks seem to be going down well:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

I am amazed that Brian bought some bog floor though I wonder if he will be doing Dan's pen in it, although I think the Omega deserves a nice bit of timber:thumbs:

Very nice Woody, I think this might be the stuff I have. I got an entire sink/drainer from a fabricator who had damaged it so it was no good to them. I've been putting off having a go with it but I will try it now. Thanks for showing.:thumbs:

Not difficult to check it Ray. Mistral, if it's a sink cut out will be a full 25mm think and solid all the way through unlike corian. It's only 12mm if bought as splashback. There are only 20 or so colours available though a couple have been discontinued so won't be on the Karonia web site link I posted.
If you can't find it post a pic and I can probably tell you as I have a full range of samples inc some of the older ones.

Colours are here: Colours of MISTRAL | Karonia Solid Work Surfaces for Kitchens, Bathrooms, Educational and Retail Worktops

This stuff I have is still only about the same thickness as corian and definitely not an inch thick.
