My 8 year old Grandson is staying with us for couple of days and wanted to do some pen turning so this is what we managed to knock up between us. A couple of slimlines in speckled corian!!

Good on yer Terry I think it is fantastic making stuff with your grandchildren it gives them a sense of pride and some good memories our Dan done a talk in his school on working in his Granddads shed well done mate tell him Mr woody said well done looking at them pens by the time he hs finished giving you lessons you should be able to do it on your own LOL

They're great Terry, tell him he has done a great job on them:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs: and his photos are top notch too, tell him to be careful of the grain, as it is a little large in the first shot.

Ain't it great working with the Grandkids. Me and the Mrs have been working with our 11 year old Grandaughter over the past couple of days converting her old playhouse into an Art and Craft Shed. You should see the colours she has put on the inside walls.

But I'll tell you what she has spent hours in there painting it 10 times better that those blinking PC games.

Familiar sentiments with regard to family involved in our hobbies this story of your Grandson of 8 yrs is wonderful mate. The resultant pens no doubt will be enjoyed for a lo9ng time to come.
