Not the best I've ever done, but thought you might like to see it anyway.
Knocked together as a present for my sister (Mad Cat woman).

Need to get the bellows working before I try any more, ended up rigging up the airbrush compressor to the saw after loosing the line a couple of times!
Pattern is from a book on bandsaw techniques.

Lovely box and well made. Great Job Neil very well fitted together, could be classed as Intarsia.

I did use a couple of Intarsia techniques Dal. The wood for the face was cut a couple of mm thicker than the surround, then the cut edges are sanded over to increase the definition.

I like making boxes but rarely seem to get the time these days:rolling:

I've got several ideas for pen boxes Peter. I even bought a router cutter for one type of box 6 months ago, it's still in its packet!
I'll get around to it one day
