Last week I said that one of the pieces of Mistral that Vic sent me I would try on a Gold Pristina. Vic found these pieces of Mistral in a skip hence the title.
The Mistral has a look of nougat about it with hints of gold in it and somehow I think they compliment one another!!!

Yes Vic it is lovely to turn. I used a roughing gouge to knock the edges off and then switched to the Rev which cut it like butter leaving a lovely smooth finish !!!:thumbs:
