A piece of Yew Heartwood on a gold plated slimline pen. The center band is a blue resin from one of my past castings, while the finish is a few coats of friction polish and waxed using renaissance polish.

It varies Mark, i have had personal pens keep its finish before showing wear and tear for well over a year, but i have had some much less .. I now use the renaissance wax polish on 90% of my friction finishes, i read somewhere that this helps when using friction polish as your finish .. :bwink:
