Some earlier turnings :

My youngest daughter snaffled the Burr Elm Bowl - sanding sealer & friction polish finish - approx 14'' Diam.
2 X Yew vases - same finish as the bowl.

Very nice, i like them all, but the vase with the base on looks superb. Yew does these justice. :thumbs:

I like these Steve, when i see items like these i get to start thinking .... "Why don't you leave the pens alone for a while and go back to turning other items" but i never do .... :rolling:

You have a super finish on these Steve ... :thumbs:

many thanks for the kind comments.
The yew vases are only about 5'' /6 '' high & were the first vases I had made. The nice pieces of yew helped.

I also go through stages of making lots of pens because I don't have time to do anything else, But then I get fed up of making pens & just have to do something else.
I struggle at the minute with hollowing big items but I will plod on & get there in the end but I do try & push myself to do things I don't know how to do, usually with disastrous results to begin with :funny::funny::funny:
I'm still learning.
