Hi,
This is, hopefully, a picture of the last pens I made.
Made from Reindeer antler.
I might need some tips on taking pictures.
Regards

Anyone know if deer antlers work as well? Might be able to get some from my father-in-law at some point, not sure how much stalking he does these days though.

I've made one in the past, it stinks and was very difficult to seal. You've done a fantastic job on those.

Four nicely turned pens Ivor
Although I've never turned an antler pen (yet), I have worked with it before and it does stink
I would also advise wearing a mask as it is very powdery and not good for your health if you breath it in :nonono:

Nice work, Ivor, especially those two with the grain
Did you get these from Pets 'R' Us?

Hi, Gizmo - I've done a bit of stalking - all I got was the Old Bill - never saw any antlers (?)

Can't say I have noticed a smell with antler either, don't like it though.
Horn stinks rancid but not antler.
