1st attempt at the brick effect segmenting.

Yep, not happy with this one as the brickwork is leaning :vangry:

Think that when I glued it all up the tube wasn't straight and parallel when I clamped it down. :vangry: also didn't manage to get the joints straight.

Corian copperite with 1mm acrylic sheet.

Oh well, just have to do it again.

What do you think of the brown and white effect? not sure myself.:goesred:

Done many different segmenting but never did get around to the brick or the herringbone effect. sure that will be next on the agenda once I have mastered this one..

The first picture looks fantastic Eamonn but the lean is obvious on the second. Very good for a first go though

Sorry Eamonn, don't like it. The lucida is a very streamlined pen and the lines of the bricks work against it. A thin herring bone pattern would work for me on this kit in different colours, but not these.

Thanks Neil.. I couldn't agree with that more.

Im not happy with it myself so I think this will be ripped off and next time use a different kit.

Well based on the first picture I was sat there thinking what's up with it?

That's a shame and I think of the work that went in to it. :sob:

I like the effect though, colours work well together.

Have a go at the 360 herringbone if you want a real challenge, I'm waiting approx 5 years before I have another go, it will take that long to get the CA off the dining table
