Burr Elm on a chrome plated Sierra, the pen has 14 coats of CA for the finish ...

Its not cross cut Mark, it was only big enough for a single barrel but it did look spalted? It isn't yellow Tony, it is brown, maybe to much exposure with the camera. :rolling:

Jim, is it the light or is there a very slight misalignment at the lower end of the barrel. Nice wood!

Looking at the pen in the picture the bottom half looks misaligned Keith, holding it here in my hand it doesn't? I will be taking another photo today to show its true colour.
