I dont think you can get one - the clips are normally designed for the slimline or streamline only, the classic is an 8mm tube. You could try drilling it out but I dont know whether there would be enough of an overhang not to make it look hideous. The metal work may look out of scale with the pen anyway, but if you want to give it a try penkitsuk stock them. Tony Parker is a mason and he (owns PenkitsUK) may well have a better answer in that he may have been asked for something similar.

I've got a variety of clips and if you get stuck I've got some masonic one but as Neil says its neigh on impossible to drill out as there's not enough metal around the edge. How about casting one in pewter? I've been thinking about having a go for a while so if I get time over the next week might have a go.

Hi Paul
I haven't done any pewter casting but I used to make lead soldiers - I used silicone for moulding - could I make them with this technique

I don't know if I would use lead because of the lead content :thinks:

You can use pewter in exactly the same way as lead though, I use an old tin can on my £10 camping stove to heat it up and then pour it. If you use wood as a mould ensure that its very dry wood.

Is silicone all right with the heat of lead? I would think that pewter has about the same melting point

Hi Paul
Silicon is a good medium for moulds and it can cope with the lead / bismuth alloy so it should be ok for Pewter

Thanks for the pointers I'll post image when I cast one
