Had a short time in the workshop before our Lesley popped in
I have found out that this ply is no good for fine detailed work it just falls apart as I found out half way through a nativity with fine bits just falling apart but its good for practice

great pieces of scrollwork Woody.

We use 3mm modelling ply Woody. It's nice & solid.

+1 for modelling ply these angels are only 3 1/2" tall and as you can see there is some fine work on them

Thanks for the tip guys on the modelling ply I have just ordered some 3mm and 6mm but I will continue to practice with this stuff as I have a lot of it I had some spiral blades delivered I will try them out in the week all good fun and I am happy with the way its going so far

Woody I sympathised the drop out from some ply is awful learnt today about the other ply as well. Know you will be a full bottle on scrolling soon thanks for showing your progress.

I find if I use Baltic Birch plywood don't have the issue with the ply falling apart.
I use it for all my scroll saw work.

Hi Les thanks for that I was given a load of 1/4" ply a month or so ago its OK for most things except fine detail scroll work but its OK to practise with
