My router table lives under the lathe when not in use and forms a useful surface on which to rest tools that are being used on a project but are temporarily not in use. The only problem is that they tend to roll about or fall off the table which is at best a nuisance and at worst potentially damaging to the tools and my feet.

This simple rack, attached with a t-bolt to the mitre slot of the router table solves the problem quite neatly.
