Rolling pins

Looks like it would make a pretty nice cutting board but was destined for another purpose. 6 French rolling pins. The piece with Curly White Oak was difficult to turn. Had to keep the tools sharp and make light cuts.

Beaut idea mate the reuse is far superior to the cutting board each strip deserves to be seen this way, nice turning.

At first I thought scarfed joints but just as interersting laminated timber on the flat turned neat effect nonetheless.

Brilliant Terry - never seem a French rolling pin but mix of material and style is pure art Wife's Christmas present sorted! Let's hope she likes wood as much as we do :thumbs:

Stunning mate they use these in huge numbers in many countries great sellers over here. Alot safer than the big ones if the domestic goddess gets upset.
