Years ago at a garage sale I found an orphan metal lathe tailstock, this I converted to use as well as the original tailstock on the old Woodfast Lathe. Adjusted the base for a firm sliding fit it has over four inches throw Ideal for drilling on the lathe and with so much strength in every respect is very stable.

Pictures show the Green original and Grey Orphan no longer.

Kind regards Peter.
