A comment Brian posted recently reminded me that it was a while since I had made any one-piece slimlines.

This one is a chrome kit in what I think is holly oak (evergreen oak) but I can't be sure as it was an unidentified blank among a selection that someone (Ian Metheringham from Turner's Cabin I think) gave me.

Finished with Drechseln and Mehr pen finish.

That is just cock on! I've had some slimline kits since I started a couple of months ago but never made them as they look (to me) like a too skinny bit of wood with too much hardware but that Walter is as balanced as you can get and has caught the attention of TLOML So how do I make it please! :sob: :thumbs:

I like the shape of this Walter, just right in my eyes my friend .. I need to try making some of these myself .. :thumbs: I see a trend coming .. :ciggrin:
