Hi all,

A quick introduction. I am mark from Leeds. New to turning and would like to do some pens when I have mastered the basics, so thought that I would join the forum.

I am intending to get a jet mini lathe in the next week or so.

Peter (Buckeye) likes to welcome everyone with a nice full bosom - don't fall into the trap of thinking you've been singled out for special attention.

Welcome aboard Mark.

Hi Mark and welcome.

I have the jet 1014 and have been very happy with it. My only regret is that I didn't wait and buy the variable speed version but then I'm a lazy git who can't be bothered to change speed by hand:whistling:
