Hi Everyone,

I am new to this, starting about 10 months ago. Always have been interested in Turning so brought a cheap one off of ebay 40 inch base. Massive, but the bug bit me. Sold that and brought a new one from Axminster. Set-up my garage, lathe, bandsaw, grinder etc. Spend hours in there. I have had a go at turning the standards: small bowls (flying saucers) and have turned about 30 pens to date. Now I am dabbling in casting my own blanks in polyester resin. At last I have found a good forum / group so that I can share info / disasters (had a few) and pick up a few tips/tricks etc.

Hi Everyone,

This is a sample of what I've been up to so far.

Material - Homemade Polyester Blank (British Racing Green, with Gold Glitter)
Pen Kit - Sedona from fun-e-turnz

What do you think?
