JR Gentlemens Rollerball Pen on Inlayed Spalted Beech Blanks .. Finished with CA and polished with the cream not yet named from Pete B, that needs to be on the market ASAP ...

Here are the two blanks that David (Jimjam66) cut the crosses in, a good lesson learnt with these. Do not use wood like Spalted Beech, being a softish wood the resin soaks into the wood leaving a smudge that goes all the way through as seen with the red cross one .. You can't see this with the yellow resin as it is a lot paler ..

You can see his work here: http://www.penturners.co.uk/buy-sell/683-sell-inlay-blanks-various-designs.html

Highly delighted with the out come of these ...

The yellow looks great, Jim! The red is a bit spoiled by the colour seep. Might be worth washing the inlay area with sanding sealer before filling with resin?
