He's the latest attempt. I think the general finishing is slightly better, but I left the shape slightly more cigar shaped......and I'm not sure I like it as much ......does it look a bit chubby? :thinks:

Yep, it does look a bit on the fat side. Well you did ask :face::wink:
But it is a lovely bit of wood, well turned and finished :thumbs:

I don't think it's fat. It's got a nice shape and doesn't stick out at the transition on either end. Some you see look like mr. Blobby in a fiat 500. Like it David :thumbs:

Nope, not too fat in my opinion, I prefer them with a bit of shape. I started doing Sierras straight and then did some shaped, much prefer the shaped.

Great piece of wood, done justice.

It looks very nice to me with a lovely piece of wood. I don't think its too fat but the grain might make it look as if it is. :thumbs:

It looks spot on to me nice bit of turning with a good finish you have done that lovely bit of wood proud bloody well done
