About a year ago I went to a woodworkers show here in the Denver area and tried turning a pen at one of the vendor booths. I had been making furniture as a hobby for about 10 years, but I was new to turning. I got hooked!

So, I bought a Nova DVR lathe, some tools, a chuck, etc. I started turning bowls, bottle stoppers, and pens using whatever wood I found or bought. I am enjoying myself immensely.

It doesn't take long to get hooked on turning Jim does it. Welcome to the forum, you've already shown us some interesting pens so realise we run on photos
