Yes, I agree with the others, another cracking pen. Do they start out as solid bar and did you turn them on a metal lathe?:idontknow:

The only difference between these pens and a wood or plastic pen, is the use of a small Model Makers Metal turning lathe to turn the barrels. The complete kit is used and solid Brass and Alloy bars instead of wood / plastic. They are finished on my wood lathe. Fell as if I have been cheating. I all so use the Metal lathe to make my own Mandrels Bushes ETC.

Very nice Jamesh both turned and finished to a very high standard if you dont mind me saying for benefit those who have never done this before the whole of the turning can be done on a wood lathe using either hss scrappers or carbide tip tools ally, brass and copper are all soft metals and will turn on a wood lathe but they are harder than other materials we normally turn

A pair of very nice pens indeed.
I have some files called dreadnought files which just plane the metal away when the lathe is turning at about 500 rpm. This removes the bulk before fine finishing
