Hi All

Please see below a Pen and letter opener which made last night.
Had a good at using CA as the finish for the first time that was fun.
These two will be a gift for someone.

is that a bit of CA on the top of the knife

I get that sometimes if u dont sand it off flat at end after removing from mandrel

it doesnt normally show until u squeeze the parts together

or i could be waffling and it is not even there

Hi Steve

No not CA I just squashed it a little to hard in the vice the centre threaded bit was fighting me and whilst I won there was consequence.
I did not fancy taking the top off and sorting as I suspect that would have made it worse.
You live and learn.

You will get used to the quality (or lack of it) of kits available form most UK retailers :rolling:
The above statement does not include Dan's kits are always spot on :whistling:
