Gave the lathe a work out yesterday clearing a space. Among the glue ups was this Conkerberry from a 150 yr old tree I never have found a more consistently variable timber than this every turning is different. Where it grows has made this prickly thorny misshapen termite loving shrub tree fight for survival it produces a fruit that is plum like sought after by the tribal people.
