Finally got to turn these wonderful Serpentine blanks that were made by Terry Q .. The blank is Bubinga and the veneer used is Maple, it is on a Chrome plated Baron Rollerball, and given a CA finish ..

In my haste when putting the cap on ready to take the photograph i didn't notice that the cap and body wasn't lined up correctly .. Ah well, there is always next week to put it right .. :whistling:

In putting it to the test as you turned keeping the barrel thicker the transition is delightful to the top of the pen, this gives strength to the design. Sometimes its not necessary to match detail as this pen flows with so much happening the eye follows easily without interruption anyway bear in mind this is quite a magnification of the pen the equivalent IMHO of dioptre addition which is not normal vision. The blank holds it own Terry in quality and detail. Neat pen clearly shownJim.
