It wood Jim what it is is elm that was washed up on becks hill beach the are both from the same bit of wood the black was caused by a bolt in the wood

Well I wouldn't have guessed that ... I was going to say Ivory or African Blackwood ...... but I'd have been wrong :nooidea:

Very nice Alex, but if they are both from the same piece, how can one be Oak, and both be Elm:thinks:
