Which mold release?

Okay so I have bought my vacum chamber, epoxy, cups, lollipop sticks and have made a couple of practice molds from melamine faced chipboard. The wife and kids are away from Sunday for a week (yes a whole week with just me and the dog) so I'm going to get casting. So my question is, what type of mold release do folk use and where is the cheapest place to buy it?

Cheers
Craig (36hrs and counting:thumbs:)

Can't help Craig I'm using Polyester resin and UPVC pipes so don't need any releasing agent. Someone will know though.

I hope you have deep moulds if you are using vacuum. You should be able to find the right release for it from where you bought the epoxy.

Just watched a guy on You tube use spray on cooking oil as a release agent.

I've used Macwax when laminating epoxy. If you use silicon rubber moulds though you don't need a release agent.
