Hi All,

Been too hot in the shed for turning so I have started to make a few blanks. Will start to throw a bit of wood into the mix on the next few castings.

The blanks in the video are made with Opti cast 100 resin, Alumilite and pearlx colours.

Happy to hear the word heat again in the UK Paul quite a contrast with our minuses right now. I enjoyed seeing you back with the excellent video. It serves as a how to for me. Look forward to the fixed blanks and the turned result of these and the first ones you showed. I see you are using a two piece unit in preference to your foam core pieces to cast with. Thanks mate.

Peter.

Hi Peter,
I got the mould because I want to make a large batch of Rollester pens for prezzies and thought it would be quicker. It certainly is and less messy. Saying that I will still use the foam board for other moulds.

Thanks Mark.
I hope they still look good when turned.

On my computer screen it looks Purple, but on my camera screen it looks Blue. Must be a colour setting on different devices?
